Dr. Baird at Country Oaks Animal Hospital on Belcher Rd gets our vote. They really care about our pets there, even the one who’s not so friendly to them! Best vet we’ve ever had anywhere, hands down. And we can board our dogs there too. It’s nice to know if they have a problem while we’re gone that their regular doctor is right there to check them out. Good people.

Dr. Baird the best. Have used her services for more than 12 years. Have family that comes from Tampa to use her. She has compassion and keeps up a new meds and procedures. The staff is also wonderful. Dr. Baird has donated much of her time to local rescues.

We have taken our puppy here ever since adopting him two years ago. After we had only had him for a couple of weeks, he developed kennel cough, which prompted his first visit. The vet techs and the vet did so much to put me at ease. The staff were all so excited to meet my dog and obviously care for animals, which is honestly exactly what you want in a veterinary clinic. Each time we have been there, the vets have been extraordinarily helpful, explaining clearly and concisely what my puppy needed.
I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Although I went here initially because of the convenience (it is just down the road from our apartment), we will definitely keep taking our dog here for years to come.

COUNTRY OAKS ANIMAL HOSPITAL
I’ve been taking my pets here for many years and have nothing bad to say. I do like all the vets I’ve spoken to and the techs are quick and friendly. They saved my cat’s life when another clinic told me there was no hope. I would highly recommend them.

I adopted an adult cat who came down with a cold several days after I took him home. I went to COUNTRY OAKS ANIMAL HOSPITAL to get some medicine. I saw Dr.Baird who was incredibly compassionate and did a great job of explaining what was making my cat sick. I had never seen a cat with a cold before, so I was very alarmed to see him breathing with his mouth open. Dr. Baird assured me he would be fine, and she also gave me a few tips for at home things I could do to help him recover quicker. I thought Dr. Baird was fantastic, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return to see her.

Dr. Elizabeth Baird, Country Oaks Animal Hospital
I love this place. I’ve been taking my dog there since our initial visit two years ago for a second opinion about a tumor he had. I have seen 2 doctors since then, and both were so kind and wonderful and answered all of my questions. Even going so far as to personally email me an extensive explanation of what was going on, possible treatments, possible outcomes, etc. Fair pricing, extremely clean, not high-pressure about treatment and services. Plus, every time I’ve brought my dog in, they’ve sat down on the floor to examine him so he wouldn’t be so freaked out by the table.

When I took in my new puppy to Dr Baird of Country Oaks the staff was warm, friendly and enthusiastic.
I was so excited about how pleasant an experience it was that I recommended them to my two brothers (who have sibling puppies of my puppy) and they had great experiences too.
The vet was very helpful and friendly. I resoundingly recommend Dr Baird of Country Oaks

Dr. Baird and staff at Country Oaks are the best! We’ve been with them three yrs and have fantastic experience each visit. They were especially wonderful when we had to say goodbye to our very sick three yr old cat. Dr Baird and staff even sent flowers and sympathy card! Love them!!!
